Chris Cochran
Chris was born in Pomona, California, and relocated at a young age to Manchester, CT, where he was raised. In early 2019, he and his wife Lani began searching for a small town that offered good schools and inviting neighborhoods for their blended family. They found everything they were looking for in East Granby, where they moved in August of 2020.
The couple lives on Glen Hollow with their two stepsons, who currently attend Seymour and East Granby Middle Schools. In 2021, they expanded their family business, Little Bird Wellness, by opening an office on Route 20.
A 14-year veteran of the U.S. Army, Chris has served across the globe to defend freedom and democracy. He has spent the last 20 years in the military aerospace industry, currently leading new product development of military propulsion for his employer. He also serves as the President of a joint venture between two major aerospace companies.
Chris holds a B.S. in Strategic Studies and Defense Analysis with a minor in Anthropology, a Master's in Organizational Leadership, and an MBA—all from Norwich University, a private military college in Northfield, VT.
He is running for the Board of Finance, where he currently serves as an appointed alternate. With over 20 years of corporate experience, managing hundreds of millions of dollars in government contracts and internally invested projects, Chris believes he has the requisite experience to make sound financial decisions for the town.
