Whitney Burns
Whitney Burns and her husband settled in East Granby in 2013 to raise their family. Now with two children enrolled in the East Granby school district—from toddler programs to Seymour Elementary—Whitney enjoys keeping her kids actively engaged in the community through various events.
A graduate of Allegany College of MD, Whitney also holds a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Bay Path University. With 16 years of experience serving her community and clients, she has worked in a variety of settings, including geriatric care, adolescent psychiatry, and outpatient hand therapy. Currently, Whitney serves as the Assistant Director of Rehabilitation for the North Region of Powerback Rehabilitation To You. This mobile outpatient clinic provides therapy services for individuals of all ages, aiming to improve independence and quality of life, especially for those wishing to age in place.
Originally from Western Maryland, Whitney grew up in a small town.
